Course Description

Our Basic Class 2 Driver Training provides students with the basic knowledge and practical skills necessary to become an entry-level Class Two bus driver.  All training is completed one-on-one with our ICBC certified instructor in our school bus, using in-town and rural routes.

Course Prerequisites: 19 years of age and valid BC Class 2 Learner’s Licence*

*Students are required to pass the air brake endorsement (Code 15)  written exam at ICBC prior to attempting their class 1 road test.

21- Hour Class 2 Driver Training Includes:

  • Pre Trip Inspection
  • Defensive Driving
  • Backing
  • Railroad Crossings
  • Passenger Safety & Comfort
  • Use of our school bus for the ICBC Road Test

Cost   $2415.00 Additional hours available at $115.00 per hour

Extra Costs to Students (Class 2)

1st Visit to ICBC:

  1. ICBC  Learner’s Licence Test Fee* : $15
  2. ICBC Air Brake Knowledge Test Fee*:  $15

*If writing Class 2 Learners & Air Brake tests at ICBC on the same day, cost is only $15 

Road Test Day:

  1. ICBC Road Test Fee $ 50
  2. ICBC Licensing Fee $17
  3. ICBC Medical Form Processing Fee $28
  4. At your Doctor’s office: Medical Examination Fee $80 – $150 (Drs set pricing)

Students must give 24 hours notice if not able to attend scheduled lessons or they will be charged for those missed lessons.
