Air Brake (Endorsement 15) Courses
Any person wishing to legally drive a vehicle equipped with air brakes requires an Air Brake Endorsement (15). If your vehicle has a yellow 4-sided button to apply and release the parking brake, you require an air brake endorsement (15) to legally drive your vehicle.
Air Brake “Theory Only” Course (7-Hour) Course
Fee $160.00
Course Description
Students wishing to upgrade their licences to a higher class of licence, (class 1, 2 or 3), are required to complete this 7 hour course “Theory only” Air Brake Course. Our certified air brake instructor covers the theory necessary to pass the ICBC air brake endorsement (15) knowledge test.
Air Brakes “Theory with Assessment” (11-Hour) Course
Fee $225.00
Course Description
Students wishing to add an air brake endorsement (15) to their existing class of licence require our 11-hour Air Brake Theory with Assessment Course.If your RV has air brakes this is the course for you! Our certified air brake instructor covers the theory necessary to pass the ICBC air brake endorsement (15) knowledge test then takes you outside for hands-on-training on how to complete an air brake pre-trip and adjust a manual slack adjuster on an air brake equipped vehicle. Our ICBC Certified Assessment Officer will then assess your ability to complete the air brake pre-trip inspection on an air brake equipped vehicle.
Students must give 24 hours notice if not able to attend scheduled lessons or they will be charged for those missed lessons.
