Professional Driver Training - Testimonials

Extreme Pro Driver Training:
Thank you very much to the team at Extreme Professional Driver Training. I felt at ease from the moment I walked in the door to the last time I walked out your doors as a class 1 driver! Coming from England as a class 3 equivalent driver I was only going to go with the least expensive course I could find to upgrade to class 1 upon immigrating to Canada which drew me to the weekend airbrakes course offered through your company. Upon meeting my instructor and learning the air brakes in his classroom I decided that it would be worth my time and money to stick with him for the class 1 training.
That decision definitely paid off; my instructor helped me overcome my nervousness and was very thorough in teaching me what I needed to know to pass the test and be a safe operator on Canadian roads. He was able to adapt the lessons and what he was teaching to what I most needed to practice for success on the test and success in my future career. He quickly identified where I was most unsure and forced me to keep testing those skills until it was easy for me. If I had to do it again I would make the same decision to train with the team at Extreme Pro. I have no hesitation in recommending your company to anyone.

Dear Ed
I would like to say thank you to you and all your staff for making my Earning Your Wheels course so enjoyable. As I was your first student to take the ‘Earning Your Wheels’ course I got to experience the teachings of all your instructors (Dwayne, Joe, Peter, Bob and Greg) and was amazed at the knowledge and patience that they showed me even when I was struggling. I would not hesitate to recommend your school to people who want to become professional drivers. Once again a big heart felt thank you to everyone (Lana and Brenda are great) for all their help and patience.

On August 20th 2009 Joe Mohos was my instructor for a 12 hour refresher course, I met Joe in Vernon where he introduced himself and proceeded to take me on a pre-trip of the vehicle I would be driving. Joe’s experience and knowledge of truck driving was great. I found Joe to be very calm and patient, never getting worked up or excited as we drove around the area. His way of direction was clear and easy to follow, whenever he felt I was getting worked up he would make a little humor or simply have us pull over safely and we could talk or go for a coffee. Afterwards, my confidence returned and I felt stable and sure of my driving abilities. Joe never asked me to do anything illegal and watched every move reminding me to use my mirrors and have courtesy towards other drivers. I am very pleased to have taken this course for I have learned many new procedures pertaining to the pre-trip and driving, as well as coupling/uncoupling trailers in a safe and proper way. I feel Joe is a very good driving instructor and I highly recommend him to anyone planning to take a the class 1 or 3 driving course.

Dear Ed
Thank you for the excellent training received from your instructors enabling me to obtain my class 3. It wasnt an easy process as I was struggling with the down shifting, but you and your team never gave up. You were determined to teach me and so you did. Both Dwayne and Al were great to deal with. Both had different ways of instructing and both were effective.
I will not hesitate to recommend your company to anyone that requires professional driver training.
Again, thank you for your commitment to providing the best training possible.
Best regards,
- Michel

I would especially like to give an extra heartfelt "Thank You" to Dwayne, my instructor, for his patience and encouragement throughout the course, Thanks, buddy, I couldn't have done it without you.

Dear Dwayne
I would like to express my gratitude for such a wonderful and interesting Class 1 Driving Course. Your desire to teach and instruct, your professionalism and knowledge as well as your kindness, will be well noted and referred to anybody I know who wants to become a professional driver. I cannot imagine, finding a more knowledgeable, courteous, patient and experienced professional driving instructor as yourself. You made it fun to learn a difficult course in the shortest time possible, yet never lost patience or your great attitude with a rookie like me who sometimes wondered, in what gear we're in.
